Vad är e-cigg?

E-cigarettes, also known as e-cigs, are electronic devices that offer an alternative to traditional smoking. Using a vaporizer, e-cigarettes convert a liquid, often called e-juice, into an inhalable vapor. This allows you to experience the sensation of smoking without exposing yourself to many of the harmful substances found in regular cigarettes, such as tar and tobacco.

When making payment, an electronic verification is used to ensure that you are at least 18 years old. Identification will also be required upon delivery.

Hur fungerar en e-cigg?

E-cigarettes typically consist of three main parts:

1. Battery 

A rechargeable battery powers the device. The battery may be built-in or replaceable depending on the model. Many models also have a button to activate the vaporizer.

2. Heating element (evaporator or coil) 

This is the component that heats up the e-juice and converts it into vapor. The vaporizer, also called the atomizer, plays a crucial role in creating a smooth and enjoyable vaping experience.

3. Container (tank or cartridge) 

This is where the e-juice is stored. The containers can be:

• Refillable:  Can be refilled with e-juice when they start to run low. These are more cost-effective in the long run.  

• Pre-filled:  Disposable containers that are replaced when they are empty.  

When the user takes a puff, the heating element is activated, converting the e-juice into vapor. This vapor is inhaled and then exhaled, creating a smoke-like experience without the tobacco smoke.

For beginners, user-friendly devices that require minimal maintenance are often recommended. Examples of these include:

• Pod systems:  Small, compact devices that are easy to use and often pre-filled with e-liquid.  

• Disposable vapes:  Ready to use straight out of the package with no need for refilling or charging.

E-cigarettes can reduce exposure to certain harmful substances compared to traditional cigarettes. A significant advantage of e-cigarettes is that they are also available in nicotine-free options, which allows them to be used without the addition of nicotine. This distinguishes them from traditional cigarettes, which contain nicotine and are therefore addictive.
